We stayed one night at the Grand Mansion, Our room was very nice. It looked like a bed & breakfast place at one time but it isn't that now. Easy access to lots of restaurants and stores, We ate at Texas Roadhouse, which was very good. The next morning we ate at the Calio Cafe and it was excellent. Enjoyed the United States Marshal Museum before leaving town.

Lots to do.
Lots to do. The US Marshals museum is cool, lots of antique stores, the historical site was very interesting, some good restaurants are in the area, and we liked being close to the Arkansas River. Would've liked to do the art museums ... next time.

While we were traveling through, I chose the Fort Smith location as a stopover point based upon mileage traveled. Our accommodations were in the city and as we learned, the free parking in the area was somewhat limited. The outside eating establishments were several city blocks away. No problem for us, but those with mobility issues may want to consider the many properties we saw on the outskirts of the city.

We loved it here. Such a cool space! Indoor water feature. We did room service even though there was plenty of space to relax at the bar/restaurant. The food was good. We would definitely stay again if we travel through.

We were only there for one night on a cross country trip, but as we drove out I saw many places I would have liked to stop and explore, especially in the downtown and riverfront areas. There were numerous entertainment/restaurants/shopping areas that might have been fun had we had time.
The hotel was clean and well kept. The TV in the room was exceptionally large. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices, and well maintained. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, and very good cheese omelets. The refrigerator had a wide variety of yogurts and hard boiled eggs, There was a pancake machine that fascinated everyone.
Not Much really old and dated , carpet was old and dirty!! Kept smelling Marijuana every time we came and went to our room !! Asked if the hotel was non smoking the front desk Lady said yes so I complained about the Marijuana smell and she totally ignored me !! I’m severely allergic to smoke to it wasn’t a very pleasant smell !!
Let's just say that the hotel once had better times. And the hotel was young and beautiful. And now old age has come. And along with it decrepitude, disrepair and everything that goes with it... Of course you can sleep here - the bed is comfortable. And parking free. But nothing more. You won't enjoy your vacation.
Very clean and nice the breakfast is one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel setting! I feel like it could have been a little cheaper than I paid for the queen suite but there were 4 teenage boys and 2 adults and we had plenty of room!! I'd stay again! Pool area was nice it was just us down there the whole time.
It was the day before I met my biological brothers. The desk clerk was great. I was nervous and she was kind and helpful. I didn't get her name but she was nice as I started to cry realizing what was going to happen with me. My room was great and glad you had an area to smoke! Lol. Thank you and I will b back.
This place was absolutley disgusting. It smelled of vomit, trash and the carpets were beyond soiled. The rooms were moldy, dusty, broken lights, desk. The art work was removed but screws and holders just painted over. Nasty stuff spilled on walls. Putrid doesn't do this hotel justice.
The hotel was the cleanest we encountered during our 2-week trip to the SW. The design of the rooms was perfect, and the mattress was wonderful. Thanks to the staff who honored our request for a "fragrance-free, hypoallergenic" room! Also, was 1-minute walk to a fantastic restaurant.
Very friendly host, communicated well. Great area, very safe. It was a great stay all the way around. If we ever go to Fort Smith again we will definitely stay here!
We didn’t get up in time for breakfast but we loved that the room was clean and updated and loved the suite with all the kitchen amenities and the living room
